The Recruitment is conducted by the UPSC. Every Year UPSC is conducting the Civil Service Exam. The Exam will be conducted in two Phases. Preliminary and Main Exam. The selection for the Main Exam is based on -candidate- performance in the Preliminary Exam. Then followed by the GD and Interview. Based on the Marks secured in the Main and GD and Interview, the post will be alloted- I.A.S., I.F.S., I.P.S., ..etc. IIS Group -A post Category. The selected candidate in the category of IIS will be posted in the News Editor in the All India Radio (AIR) and Doordharsan. The Exam pattern is same as that of UPSC.
