for preparation of NET, first of all download the syllabus, which is
given on
http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/syllabuspdf/87.pdf. u can also download
previous year papers given at: http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/oldqpyr.php?sub=87

keep in mind:

1. for every topic, u should read some standard book. e.g., for
"discrete structures" u can read the book written by "barnard
coleman", or for "graph theory", u should read the book written by
"narsingh deb" or by "d b west". meaning is that for every topic u
should read some standard book. u should not read the local university
book.

2. the old papers will be very useful for u to decide the weightage of
every topic.

3. i can help u if u want to know about good book related to
mathematics, c, c++, data structutes, etc. for other books i can
provide u the list of authors after asking my friends who r working
under computer science.
